L’ISOLA D’ORO, AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE FILM “SE UN GIORNO TORNERAI” (IF ONE DAY YOU COME BACK”, WHICH OPENS THE SUMMER SEASON OF THE “ASTRA” CINEMA IN PARMADeep feelings, in a city that features alongside the protagonists.
The summer season of the “Astra” cinema in Parma opens tonight after months of hiatus from the great Italian cinema. The season opens with: “Se un giorno tornerai” (If one day you come back), by the director Marco Mazzieri from Parma. The film was shot on the hills of Langhirano and in the city of Parma, where the atmosphere as well as the characters are intimately linked with the senses and with everything that makes up the tradition and essence of the area in which it is set. A cinematic narrative in which location and food and wine aspects have a strong connection with the past of the Food Valley. L’Isola D’Oro fits perfectly in this context with its products of excellence in the sector of fish preserves and the art of anchovies. “Aliciotte”, as well as tuna and “Tonnotto”, honour the taste produced by skill and gastronomic experience. An integral part of the scene, they contribute to make the film’s sense of belonging to the local area even more really felt. The director Marco Mazzieri, from Parma, draws on his origins to highlight in the film all the characteristic aspects of the area, which merge with the experiences of the protagonists, echoing their moods.
Once again, L’Isola D’Oro demonstrates its sensibility, full participation and support whenever the goal is to promote the recognition of territorial identity.
