"The traps of the web": The sustainable future of L'Isola d’Oro passes also through education in the correct use of the web.

In its corporate path L'Isola d’Oro, a company of fish preserves that was born and is develops in Parma, the Italian Food Valley, has always looked beyond the aspects purely related to economic development, paying (instead) a lot of attention to the side social and educational that a company can have. In this context, the initiative "The Golden Island and the traps of the web" was born, aimed at finding first and then face them, all those apparently trivial situations, but which can be dangerous and hidden in the world of the web. These are five educational videos titled "The traps of the web" that they are dedicated to adolescent distress in the management of electronic devices. At the expense of it, it is the young kids who unwittingly may be victims of Harmful "traps": an underwater world that mainly concerns the pre- adolescent. "With (the use) the advent of dad and a somewhat insane use remotely, (the instrument) the electronic device has overridden its role as an instrument by assuming the appearance of babysitter, playmate and more or less dangerous pastime ;, the senseless use has gradually created discomfort and sometimes addiction. Not just in kids who benefit from it, but also to parents and families in a broader sense. In fact suffer the interference of computers, Ipads, mobile phones in the absence of experience in containment systems " says Donatella Zarotti resp. communication The Golden Island often creates anxiety, panic, anger and frustration within the family, school and social relationship. The initiative was born from here and from the need for security and transparency, in this case online de L'Isola d’Oro which, with 5 expertly studied and shot videos, represents the two faces of this situation: the trap and how not to fall into it. "We have created a story-board in which the unsuspecting" unwitting victim "of trappole del web is taught by his brilliant alter "nerd" on how to read and share knowingly the messages to which the adolescent world is subjected ”he continues Donatella Zarotti.
The protagonist of the videos is Michelangelo, a 12-year-old teenager who, like all teenagers recently started surfing the Internet, using it daily; with the risk around the corner! “The target to which this initiative is addressed ranges from 8 to 15 years, and precisely the fact that it is a little boy of this age to introduce and stimulate his alter on the traps of the web is result a winning mirror " Right within the corporate social responsibility projects, L'Isola D'Oro promotes therefore more awareness, more rules; a real training and information for a correct and healthy use of the vehicle; thus helping the kids to be more cautious and recognize the risk. The mini videos "The traps of the web" are available on the L'Isola D'Oro website and on YouTube. Check all the episodes on our Youtube channel
